Devansoy,
a leading supplier of natural soy ingredients, recently announced the launch of
a new website, with improved information for current and potential customers.
With the new website, Devansoy will have a new tool to communicate with
customers about its line of all natural soy ingredients. The website, www.Devansoy.com,
was completely re-designed for easier use.
Devansoy Chief Operating Officer J. Roger Kilburn sees
this as a further step in the positioning of the Company in the natural soyfoods
industry, which currently accounts for over $2.7 billion in sales annually and
is forecasted to grow 35% in 2002.
“Food processors want easy access to basic
information, and the new website certainly provides that service. But, they also
want to be able to gain secure entry to specific areas on demand,” said
Kilburn. “We have provided sections of the website for general use and other
sections where access is granted by use of a code or password unique to each
account.”
A three-decade veteran of the soybean industry, Kilburn
currently serves as past-president of the Soyfoods Association of North America
(SANA) and is a member of its board of directors.
The company launched the new website in June.
“Devansoy continues to lead in innovations for the
natural soy category, so it was appropriate to introduce a new electronic tool
for our customers.,” said Kilburn. “The response had been gratifying.”
Devansoy is a leading supplier of natural soy ingredients made from
identity-preserved soybeans. Their products include liquid soymilk concentrate,
soymilk powders and soy flours, available in conventional and Organic. All
products are IP and Kosher Parve. The company was established in Carroll, Iowa
in 1991 by soybean industry standout Elmer Schettler and continues to operate
from Carroll.
